Six Flags District 1 Extravaganza

On a beautifully sunny day in Agawam, Ma on Saturday September 10th, the District 1 Trustee, Laura Huling, led UConn, Tufts, BU, and Harvard in their District 1 Meeting at Six Flags New England.

The day began with a luncheon and a presentation by Crest/Oral B, which covered a very informational method of motivational interviewing. This was followed by an entertaining personality evaluation test where individuals answered questions to determine whether their personality falls into one of four categories: persuader, analyzer, stabilizer, or controller. Kicking the year off with Rock Cats

We kicked off the new school year with an evening of food and fun at a New England Rock Cats baseball game. This event was co-sponsored by the CSDA and attended by members of the association, UConn faculty, and students from all four classes. Highlights included our own Liz Kaminsky throwing out the first pitch, a buffet of cookout favorites, and an exciting raffle. Prizes included Oral-B Triumph toothbrushes, Crest whitestrips, and (best of all!) a free ASDA membership which was won by (more…)
